From a long time, subject of sexual harassment complaints was raising concern. Finally, McDonald’s has signed a settlement with equality watchdog of Britain after raising on the way to handles sexual harassment complaints.

This step towards signing an agreement come after a number of sexual harassment cases were raising by the worker of the McDonald.
As you had seen the headlines recently a worker of from the South London branch of McDonald’s in 2018 said she was sexually harassed by her manager.
The BBC wrote on its website that employee Christine of McDonald’s said “she [the manager] took off her pants in the stockroom,”
In Britain the number of workers who faced sexual harassment case by the McDonald’s is not clear. Though for four years back the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers Union said that around 1,000 workers had raised their complain about the sexual harassment. This news is also confirmed by the BBC desk.

But now after all the claims by the employees of it the McDonald’s has signed a settlement with the Equality and Human Rights Commission. They also shows their concern about the “inadequate procedures” for the sexual harassment cases.
Now following the signing process, it has been confirmed that McDonald’s is committed to protecting human rights in the workplace. They promised to measure communication and develop a zero-tolerance approach to sexual harassment cases.
This is good and welcome initiative for human rights at workplace, employees can feel safe and work freely, it is also a bonus point for the company they are working for.
