Malaysia – In 1998, Malaysia like other Asian countries had reported worst performance due to Asian Financial Crisis. 2020 was a similar year due to Covid-19 pandemic. But 2021 was a better year, though recovery was far from break even. Despite Malaysia’s economy shrinking by 4.5%, things were looking better. Now with 2022 bringing better gains and prospects, the job market is also picking up.

Here we bring a list of top 10 highest paying jobs in Malaysia for year 2022 that you should know about.

C suite roles

CEOs, CFOs and COOs are unsurprisingly the highest paying job profiles. In Malaysia, the salary for these jobs, ranges from RM 300,000 to RM 620,000 per year. The sectors include Banking & Financial Services, Business Services, Digital & Technology, Engineering & Manufacturing, and Healthcare & Pharmaceutical.

Head of Shared Services Centre

In APAC, Malaysia is a hub for shared services – an essential business partner allowing companies to manage their operational costs through outsourcing of finance, technology, HR and marketing. The salary for this profile is on average RM 540,000 per year.

Procurement Director

Ensuring that company has essential items and services for its smooth operations, the job of a procurement director can earn salary of between RM 300,000 to RM 504,000 a year. 

Medical Director

Medical Director is an experienced doctor or surgeon who serves in a leadership role in a medical facility . The average salary of this profile per year is RM 480,000.
