The best companies to work for in Europe in 2024

Last updated on January 24th, 2024 at 07:38 am

According to Glassdoor’s annual employer rankings, tech companies dominate this year’s list of the best companies to work for. For example, cloud software company Salesforce performed well in all countries included in the ranking, ranking in the top 3 in Germany, France, and the UK, in the top 10 in the US, and 22nd in Canada.

Even though it has been a difficult year for the travel industry, several travel companies have also made the list of the best companies to work for. Trailfinders, Jet2.com and Marriott International were top 50 in the UK.

Facebook’s parent company Meta has not been as successful this year. In the US, it fell from 11th last year to 47th this year.

It’s been a tumultuous year for the tech giant after former Facebook employee Frances Haugen exposed the company’s alleged inaction in combating misinformation and hate speech.

On Glassdoor, employees rate their employer anonymously and are asked to share the pros and cons of working for their company. They also rate how satisfied they are with their employer overall.

Among the nearly two million employers reviewed on Glassdoor, the company’s average rating is 3.7.
