The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, particularly called UNICEF, has reported that the recent attacks in Ukraine have not only resulted in loss of lives, but also they have caused a huge destruction to the power and water supplies of the country.

Effect on Assets of Ukraine

During this time, there is nothing more important than saving people’s lives but the destruction of the public property of Ukraine is also an important aspect to be looked at. The ones who are suffering the most are the employees who are working in the Railway Department of Ukraine and those who have lent their hands on building the energy infrastructure of the country.

The Ukrainian regions like Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Cherkasy have witnessed deaths of dozens of people, who died following the recent attacks on the country’s railway system. People are in a fear to leverage the transport facilities that are made only for them. They are unable to find an alternative for transportation of goods or their personal work, as the administration has put limits on air traffic and transportation through seaports.

Other Consequences

After the attacks on energy infrastructure in Ukraine, the power supply or the electricity supply is also affected in the country. People are struggling to get the basic power supply at their homes and are deprived of this amenity.

Along with the power supply, there have been a lot of limitations in water supply, as well. Every tear counts; in these hard times, each and every citizen of Ukraine is just praying to the Almighty that this conflict ends as soon as possible and they come to normalcy.
