Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, has said that the Hamas militants raped various young women and girls amid the war. Various activists have also claimed that violence against women and girls increased because of the ongoing conflict between Hamas militants and Israeli soldiers. 

Women are at great risk of sexual assault because Hamas fighters are using rape as a weapon of war. Various other people have also accused Hamas of raping Israeli women. 

What happened to women?

A man named Ori said in a video shared by Israel on their official X account that his two daughters were missing. The man reportedly said, “I close my eyes and I don’t know where they are. They are either being raped in Gaza or dead in a ditch somewhere.”

Moran, a 40-year-old mom-of two young girls, who lives in Israel, said that her friend was raped in the streets of Gaza by Hamas fighters. The men also sent a video of the crime to her family. Since then, the woman has been missing.

Hamas using rape as a weapon of war

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Hamas raped various women. According to witnesses, Hamas militants kidnapped various women with their babies. Women were taken hostage and paraded down the streets of Gaza. 

A survivor told the media, “They came to slaughter, to destroy. I know they kidnapped girls. They raped women even after killing them.” This shocking revelation is a huge blow to women’s rights. 

Another incident of crime shocked the entire world. A German woman was paraded naked by Hamas in a truck. In a viral video, Hamas fighters were seen keeping their legs over her, pulling her hair, and spitting on her. Her naked body was lifeless. She was identified as tattoo artist Shani Louk. 

According to multiple reports and knowledgeable sources, Shani Louk was attending a music festival in Southern Israel near the Gaza border. More than 250 people at the festival were killed because of the Hamas-Israel war. Hamas militants kidnapped Shani Louk from the festival. They paraded her naked in the back of a pick-up truck. A 25-year-old woman, Noa Argamani, was also assaulted by the Hamas fighters. Hamas fighters were seen dragging Israeli women through the streets, allegedly to rape them.

Hamas fighters are using rape as a weapon of war.
