UST Expands Pune Presence with New Office, Plans to Add 6,000 Jobs

UST opened an 80,000-square-foot office space at Balewadi Pune to provide workspace for more than 1,000 employees. UST will expand its presence in Pune at EQ Smartworks to add 3000-6000 new local employees through its operations at Sai Radhe Complex and this new facility over three to five years.

UST Chief Executive Officer Krishna Sudheendra performed the office opening with support from UST COO Alexander Varghese and Pune Center Head Ramprasad Santhanagopalan. UST’s Pune Center of Excellence will enhance its digital services for global clients in fintech, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing as it expands its operations and staff base at its Pune Center of Excellence.

Santhanagopalan speaks of this new office as an important financial move that supports UST’s regional expansion. Our investments in AI technology and engineering advances will keep Pune Center as an innovation hub.

From its foundation in 1999, the California company started in Thiruvananthapuram before expanding to staff 20,000 employees in 12 Indian cities. The company continues growth with Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices plus a planned Kochi campus.
