Twitter: Will Elon Musk’s pet dog make a better CEO than the “other guy”?

Billionaire Elon Musk has again got netizens a big surprise. This time he introduced the new CEO of Twitter.

Interestingly, the social media giant’s new CEO is not a human but Musk’s pet dog, Floki – a Shiba Inu.

The billionaire believes Floki makes a better CEO than the “other guy” Parag Agrawal, whom he fired as soon as he took over Twitter last year in a whopping $44 billion deal.

Musk also sacked Indian-origin legal policy head Vijaya Gadde and CFO Ned Segal last October, and eventually laid off almost half of the company’s workforce in a highly-criticised move.

The Tesla boss will resign as Twitter CEO as soon as he finds someone “foolish enough to take the job,” he mentioned last December.

In the latest development, Musk shared a picture of his pet dog Floki sitting on the CEO’s chair with a couple of documents lying in front of him on the table with his paw prints. Floki was even seen wearing a Twitter-branded black t-shirt with the abbreviation ‘CEO’ on it.

Moreover, just in case Floki needs to shoot an urgent email, a small laptop with a Twitter logo is placed at a comfortable distance from him on the table.

Sharing the picture, the billionaire wrote, “The new CEO of Twitter is amazing”, and much better than the “other guy”, he added in another tweet.

Indian-American software engineer and businessman Parag Agrawal was promoted to the CEO of Twitter in November 2021 when former CEO Jack Dorsey stepped down from his role. However, with the termination, his decade-long association with the social media giant also came to an end.

Agrawal joined Twitter in 2011 when the company was at a nascent stage with less than 1,000 employees.
