Talking about her plight, she said, “I unfortunately was impacted while on maternity leave by the Google recruiting layoffs.” Currently, she is unable to find a new job.

In March, laid off Google employees sent a letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, demanding a better handling of women workers on maternity leaves and sick leaves.
