REDFORD TWP., Mich. (FOX 2) – An off-duty Detroit Fire Department employee is now accused of shooting another driver out of road rage.

Police in Redford are investigating an alleged road rage incident involving an off-duty Detroit Fire Department employee.

In the area of Beech Daily and 96, it happened around 8 a.m. Friday morning

During her commute to work at a Detroit Fire station, the woman allegedly fired three shots at a woman’s car.

The woman drove to the Redford Police Department just a mile away from the crime scene. Authorities are not saying if she was shot.

Shortly thereafter, the suspect was arrested

According to Detroit EMS Chief Sean Larkins:

“The Department was informed by Redford Police that an off-duty Fire Department employee had been arrested by an outside police agency. The employee has been removed from active duty pending the outcome of the active police investigation. At this time, the Department cannot provide any further information due to the ongoing police investigation.”

As early as Saturday, the suspect could be arraigned. When she is, we should learn more about the incident, including her name.
