Nua Healthcare Expands with 300 New Mental Health Jobs in Gormanston

Nua Healthcare starts 300 new jobs as it opens its newest mental health hospital at Gormanston in Co. Meath. The HSE regions throughout Ireland can now refer their patients to the new mental health center which provides specialized recovery-based treatment and rehabilitation services.

The facility started admitting patients when the Mental Health Commission approved its registration last month. This facility will help people leave hospital care as final destination and provide treatment spaces in a therapeutic setting for patients needing specific attention. The hospital needs psychiatric nurses, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, healthcare assistants and staff who support security, housekeeping and culinary services.

Through joint work between Nua staff members and the HSE plus other national and foreign service providers Noel Dunne announced this new development. The new services join the excellent HSE programs to meet more patient needs with expanded specialist expertise.

Since its founding year 2004, Nua Healthcare has grown to operate more than 100 facilities across Ireland with 3000 direct employees while planning further development at Gormanston to align with Sláintecare and Sharing the Vision healthcare strategy.
