Kim Jong Un, a North Korean politician and the supreme leader of North Korea, has urged North Korean women to have more children. He has made a passionate appeal for an increase in the nation’s diminishing birth rate.

It is a tragedy for North Korea, which is controlled by the Kim family. North Korea’s issues run deeper than just a declining birth rate, increasing concerns over food security, economic instability, and international isolation.

Kim Jong Un made the appeal while speaking at the National Mothers Meeting in Pyongyang, North Korea. He was seen crying while asking women to have more children.

The North Korean leader reportedly said, “Preventing a decline in birth rates and good childcare are all of our housekeeping duties we need to handle while working with mothers.”
