Is Elon Musk’s Retweet a Call to Action for Human Rights Against Extremism or Brotherhood?

Recently social media platforms have been filled with radical debate on sensitive topics like the Muslim Brotherhood, terrorism, and Europe’s role in promoting brotherhood or extremism, etc. Suddenly what happened there? There is no new news about any mishappening or radical events. The debate arose when Twitter CEO Elon Musk retweeted a video of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed.

Where the sentiment is getting promoted that the West is fuelling dangers posed by the Muslim Brotherhood and extremist Islam. 

Musk’s actions have sparked discussion about the importance of protecting human rights and countering extremism. In addition to creating a narrative, debate began about the critical history of Islam and the Brotherhood.

Although Sheikh Abdullah’s tweet is not new. It was shared by a platform called Visegrad but within seconds it started a debate on radical ideologies.

Extremis is dangerous to humanity, now that Musk has tweeted this and it is a hot topic of discussion let’s turn to the Islamic Brotherhood, join me to find out what it is. How is it spreading and who is promoting and protecting it. And what is the world doing about it.

What is the Muslim Brotherhood?

The Muslim Brotherhood promotes the agenda that Islam is not just a religion but a way of life. Initially, the Muslim Brotherhood was a political and religious organization that originated in Egypt. It is completely based on a fundamentalist ideology, “Leave secularism and promote the Quran”.

According to the study by the Harvard International Review magazine (1996), Islamic Brotherhood is based on 2-pillars. 

1-The introduction of the Islamic Shari`ah as the basis for controlling the affairs of state and society.
2-Work to achieve unification among the Islamic countries and states, mainly among the Arab states, and liberate them from foreign imperialism.

The Muslim Brotherhood is spread across the Middle East and North and East Africa, including Sudan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, the US, and Europe.

The Brotherhood is staunchly conservative, for example in Kuwait, the Brotherhood is said to oppose women’s right to vote.

If we talk about Muslim brotherhood, it cannot be completed without HAMAS. You know that this terrorist group HAMAS is part of the jihadist ideology of the Islamic Brotherhood. It is created by Syed Qutub. He designed the doctrine of jihad and founded the radical group Hamas. It is a part of Palestinian Muslims ,built in 1950-1960.

According to The National, many experts believe that the Muslim Brotherhood has established widespread influence in European countries. Government agencies and public institutions may be funding its activities to meet geopolitical needs, to remain the world’s center of power, or they may be unaware of it.

From Saudi Arabia’s extremist Wahhabis to the Egyptian sect of the Muslim Brotherhood and Syrian terrorist groups affiliated with ISIS, the West has supported fundamentalist forces at the expense of nationalist Muslims. This is noted by the experts. Business Today said in their report West is supporting extremism. 

Once, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that Western countries asked Riyadh to help them fight Russia during the Cold War, which led to the spread of Wahhabism, which is the main source of the fundamentalist ideas that terrorist groups like ISIS follow. Prince also said the West pushed Saudi Arabia to build mosques and madrassas so that Moscow could not enter Muslim countries. This was revealed when Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was murdered in a murder game.

Europe is not the only one that encouraged the Islamic Brotherhood thinking that it would not harm them. A fundamentalist ideology not only harms an individual, region, or religion, but it will also harm humanity, the humanity of the world!

The second example is from America. Before the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, there was no al-Qaeda or ISIS. President Saddam Hussein was a staunch enemy of radical Islamists. But the world saw the reality before America.

Decades before the US invasion turned Iraq into hell on earth, it was Afghanistan that was the focal point for Islamic mercenaries from around the world. When the West began to make Afghanistan less stable to deceive the Russians, the Mujahideen, and later the Taliban, a more brutal version formed. And what the Taliban is doing the West Asia is not hidden in bars! Earlier women used to go to school, college, workplace, cafe, etc. but now they are being killed even for talking to a boy.

Who is in charge of these brutal acts which are going cornor of the world by Islam in the name of the Brotherhood?  An idea—is it Islam or brotherhood? 

I will say no. The real culprits are those who think that extremist ideas won’t harm them.

But the truth is different: extremism is worse for humanity around the world, and it will affect humanity beyond borders. WEST SHOULD GET UP AT LEAST NOW.

Elon Musk said the same thing by retweeting what the UAE sheik said in an 6-years old clip. It is a call of action for humanity, for human rights. Islam is not a phobia until it completely turn into Brotherhood. To protect children, women and humans, world leades, human right activists and specially west should come forward and take necessary steps to demotivate Islamic Zihad!
