Do you think artificial intelligence agents are going to join us in 2025?
In a recent blog post, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI – the firm behind ChatGPT chatbot – highlighted that artificial intelligence agents are likely to join us soon, potentially in 2025. He noted the rapid progress seen in the modern technology sector.
The senior officer and entrepreneur used the phrase “superintelligence”, underscoring that superintelligent tools could significantly accelerate scientific researches and, in turn, increase abundance and prosperity.
For the unversed, artificial intelligence agents are actually systems that can function autonomously. Currently, the modern technology needs a prompt from us to do something, such as crafting a piece of code to be used in an app.
But the so-called artificial intelligence agents can not just craft the code but also compile it, test it, validate it and then incorporate it in the app itself. But if these systems become a reality, is the global tech landscape going to see mass layoffs and job loss?
