Embassies play a very important role between migrant workers and the government of the host country. They provide legal advice, assist with paperwork and intervene where there is a case of unpaid wages, harassment, or unfair termination. Awareness campaigns are also held in many embassies to sensitize workers on their rights, visas and safety measures before they are deployed.
