Rapper Lil Durk charged on suspicion of ordering the murder of a rival

Lil Durk, the American rapper who took home “Grammy Award” the most prestigious award given to the international icons in the music field. He, along with J.Cole, American Rapper, was awarded for the Best Melodic Rap Performance of the song “All my life”. 

On Thursday, the 32 year old rapper, Lil Durk and his five associates, were arrested in Florida, based on the charges for hiring bounties to take revenge for the murder of his fellow rapper and musician King Von. He is held without bail.

Why was he apprehended?

According to the reports of Federal Officials, Lil Durk is alleged as the Co-conspirator 1 among the five other men for the murder which took place in 2022, October 17. Lil Durk wanted to take revenge on the murder of his friend Dayvon Bennett who performed as King Von, rooting long back in 2020 at Atlanta Nightclub. He was shot and murdered by Rondo. Including both they all are associated together in their band named “OTF” (Only The Family). 

They assume that Quando Rando is behind the murder of Von, so he and his five men in the OTF decide to hire bounties. Then they find the intended target Rondo who is mentioned as T.B. and all the five men along with Durk tracked all his moves. They found that he was staying in a hotel in Los Angeles. So, they travelled from Chicago to San Diego. 

It had been intended to book the tickets without involving their names so they took a private jet from Miami to Los Angeles. They were accompanied by Kavon Grant.

They had stayed a day before the murder in the Sheraton Universal Hotel. The next day, they intruded the target’s room and opened the highly equipped and automatic weapon but they didn’t kill the designated target instead Saviay’a Robinson the associate of Rondo who is mentioned as S.R., as a revenge for the murder of Von, said by the officials.

The other allegations over Lil Durk and the other five associates of his for carrying and firing the equipped machines and firearm guns, along with two vehicles BMW sedan and an Infiniti sedan with fake number plates which were involved during the murder.
