The UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, Reem Alsalem, will visit Poland from 27 February to 9 March 2023.
Poland’s international and regional commitments, as well as the legal, institutional and policy frameworks in place to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls, will be reviewed by the UN expert. In addition to ending femicide, domestic violence, trafficking, sexual violence, and exploitation, she will also focus on access to reproductive rights.
