Is Donald Trump actually a part of Project 2025 like Democrats insist

US voters have regularly been hearing the term “Project 2025” highlighted more and more by President Joe Biden, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and other members of the party in the run-up to the November election.

The ruling Democrats have been sounding the alarm on the potential scenarios if former President Donald Trump grabs a second term in office. They continue to connect the businessman-turned-politician to the controversial proposal.

Donald Trump constantly distancing himself from Project 2025

Overseen by the conservative Heritage Foundation, Project 2025 is a proposed presidential transition project. Trump and his campaign have been distancing themselves from the initiative. The politician even once called some of the proposals in it “ridiculous” and “abysmal”.

But the ruling party has been continuously trying to tie the transition project to Trump, cautioning that its policy proposals are something the US citizens can expect if they elect the former President in the upcoming November election.

The contributions from ex-Trump administration officials have led its critics to tie Project 2025 to his re-election campaign, though the Republican presidential nominee has attempted to distance himself as much as possible from the controversial transition initiative.

Joe Biden said Project 2025 should scare every single US citizen

It is interesting to note here that some of the policies in the Project 2025 agenda have already been discussed by Republicans or pushed by Donald Trump himself, including a secure border and increased enforcement of immigration rules, and mass deportations.

Before dropping out of the election race, President Biden himself accused Trump of lying about his connections to the transition initiative, saying in a statement that the agenda should scare every single US citizen. Keep an eye out for more updates.
