German Woman, Paraded Naked By Hamas, Is Dead: Did Hamas Behead Her?

Tattoo artist Shani Louk, a German woman who had been kidnapped by Hamas fighters on October 7, has died and her body has been found by the Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip.

Shani Louk’s family and the Israeli government said that Hamas fighters killed the woman. Shani Louk’s sister Adi Louk said, “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of my sister.” Her mother Ricarda Louk is devastated by the loss of her daughter. 

Israel said on social media platform X, previously Twitter, “Shani who was kidnapped from a music festival and tortured and paraded around Gaza by Hamas terrorists, experienced unfathomable horrors.”

What happened to Shani Louk?

Shani Louk was attending the Supernova music festival near the Gaza border on October 7. The 23-year-old was kidnapped by Hamas fighters. She was taken hostage in the Gaza Strip. Amid the Israel-Hamas conflict, the German woman’s body was paraded naked. She was seen lying face down in a pickup truck. Her family identified her from her dreadlocks and distinctive tattoos. Tomasina, Shani Louk’s cousin, came forward to identify her.

According to German news site DW, the German woman was also filmed being beaten. She was reportedly trying to flee when she was captured by Hamas fighters.

Shani Louk beheaded by Hamas

Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel, said that the German woman was “beheaded” by the Hamas terrorists. Isaac Herzog told the German newspaper Bild, “Her skull was found. This means that these barbaric, sadistic animals simply chopped off her head as they attacked, tortured and killed Israelis.”

Her mother Ricarda Louk was informed of Shani’s death by the Israeli military. Israeli authorities found a DNA sample from part of a skull bone. The German woman’s skull was discovered near the Gaza Strip. 

Violence against women

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas fighters has increased violence against women and children. Hamas terrorists have kidnapped civilians, including women and small babies. 

In another viral video, a 25-year-old woman, identified as Noa Argamani, was seen begging for her life. Hamas militants kidnapped her on a motorcycle. An Israeli woman, identified as Gili Yoskovich, said that Hamas killed anyone they could find.

Women are at risk as Hamas using rape as a weapon of war. Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, has said that the Hamas militants raped various young women and girls.  Women were taken hostage and paraded down the streets of Gaza.
