Croatia’s Deputy Prime Minister Stepped Down due to his gun shooting video

On Saturday, one of the leading politicians of Croatia politics and a member of the Nationalist Hard-Right Party, Josip Dabro stepped down from the deputy Prime Minister position due to a video of him shooting randomly from a moving car. The given information states that he had been seated in the passenger seat, laughing and singing to the music, followed by the unexpected shooting through an open window. Meanwhile, he has claimed that this video is an old one and those bullets which were shot by him were training bullets.

“I hereby submit my irrevocable resignation”, Josip on his Statement posted on Facebook.

“I am aware that these circumstances create an additional burden for the government and my party. My personal situation should not distract the government and the ministry from their priorities or delay necessary reforms” he added.

This resignation of Josip was earlier confirmed with the statement which was issued from the office of PM Andrej Plenkovic that he had been asked to resign his duties. It is another challenging situation for the administration of PM Andrej including the dismissal of Health Minister Vili Bros due to the rising corruption allegations over him.
