yesmadam layoffs noida based startup didn't actually fire anyone
YesMadam – calling itself India’s most trusted and transparent home salon – made headlines some months back for securing funding on Shark Tank India. But this time, the company is in the limelight for all the disputed reasons.
Netizens raised serious concerns yesterday after mass firings at YesMadam. The problem erupted as the startup asked employees if they are stressed and later laid off those suffering from higher stress percentages.
But in a LinkedIn post on December 10, YesMadam noted that the mass firing email to about 100 employees is actually a “planned” strategy to highlight stress in the corporate sector. It apologised for the huge problem that it created.
