The Munich-based startup Venta AI has completed its $2 million pre-seed round to create Germany’s first AI “sales employees”, with a fully GDPR-compliant, localised solution for B2B outreach.
Venta AI’s platform uses German language data, connecting AI models built specifically for marketing funnels, including email and LinkedIn, to traditional postal mail. The company’s co-founder and CEO Lucas Spreiter, summarises:
“You wouldn’t hire an English speaker to sell to German customers – the tools that existed weren’t made for the German language or compliant with regulation.”
The algorithms are hosted in European data centres and only GDPR compliant data providers are used, ensuring full compliance with European privacy and e-privacy legislation.
Venta AI’s digital “employees” assist companies in identifying high-potential prospects using custom criteria. With compliant outreach, users are booking 30% more meetings, based on the company’s internal metrics. Early customers, including UnternehmerTUM and ARNO Group, have streamlined cold outreach for tradeshows and new business initiatives, saving them hundreds of hours.
The $2M round was led by Gradient, who was joined by Y Combinator, Orange Collective, Gaingels and angel investors Gleb Tritus, Julian Borg, Göran Göring and Freddy Martin. In support of the round, Eylul Kayin from Gradient praised the fact that the platform “aligns with regional buyer behaviour, data framework and compliance framework” for the region.
Venta AI intends to develop AI employee capabilities to drive the execution of activities across the entire sales funnel, from lead generation and follow-ups to CRM analysis and inquiry execution.
Switching worries to localisation, compliance and multi-channel outreach, Venta AI is going to redefine AI enabled sales operations in Germany and in the broader European landscape.
