Rosemary Hayne threw a bowl of hot food into the face of the Chipotle worker. The incident took place on September 5. She screamed at the worker before throwing her food on the worker’s face. The video of the incident went viral on social media. She threw the burrito bowl because she did not like the taste.

Rosemary Hayne sentenced to fast food job for 2 months

Rosemary Hayne pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge and received the sentence in the municipal court of Parma, Ohio. Judge Timothy Gilligan provided the woman with the option of a 90-day jail sentence or a 30-day jail term with 60 days of working in a fast-food job.

Judge Gilligan slammed her for the arrogant behavior. The judge asked her, “You didn’t get your burrito bowl the way you like it, and this is how you respond?”

During the hearing, she tried to explain the rationale behind her screaming at the Chipotle worker. Judge Gilligan asked Hayne, “Do you want to walk in her shoes for two months and learn how people should treat people, or do you want to do your jail time?”

Hayne responded by saying, “I’d like to walk in her shoes.”

The woman needs to have her job approved by the court and she will have to work there 20 hours a week.

Meanwhile, A GoFundMe campaign had raised $7,200 for Emily Russell, as of Tuesday morning.
