The UK government took new immigration rules for Skilled Worker visa holders that target employment exploitation while assuring fair wages. Beginning April 9 the Skilled Worker visa program adds a £25,000 minimum salary requirement replacing the current £23,200 level. This converts to an hourly wage of £12.82 for those working 37.5-hour weeks.
