Can you expect a life in a country where you will have a good payscale but the danger of losing life will be there with you 24×7? Today, we’ll be taking a glimpse of those countries where even thinking of doing a job will be a great mistake.

Afghanistan

The conflict in Afghanistan has existed for decades, making it one of the most dangerous countries. The Taliban takeover in August 2021 after the escape of former President Ashraf Ghani has increased instability with threats of terrorism, kidnappings and widespread violence. Despite ongoing peace talks, the security in Afghanistan remains uncertain, affecting civilians, government forces, and foreign entities alike.

The Talibans are still learning various things for making a proper government in Afghanistan like they are being taught how to treat women. Along with it, they have put a lot of restrictions in the country like a huge gathering cannot sit together and hang out in restaurants etc.

Yemen

According to the United Nations, Yemen is facing a severe humanitarian crisis. In a time span of 6 years, nearly 4.3 million people have left their homes. Additionally, 14 million people are still sleeping hungry or becoming very sick. More than half of the population in Yemen is in utmost need of help.

The country is under deep famine, disease and infrastructure collapse. Yemen is in a state of war. What started as an internal conflict has grown larger as countries surrounding Yemen have also become involved.

Syria

The Syrian civil war, which began in 2011, has created a very tragic and complex situation. It has destroyed buildings, roads, hospitals and schools. As a result of this conflict, it has become very difficult for people in Syria to live a normal life. They face shortages of food, clean water and medical care, creating the world’s largest humanitarian crisis.

South Sudan

The least peaceful country in sub-Saharan Africa, South Sudan is hampered by high levels of internal conflict and has been in a challenging situation. Since it got separated from Sudan in 2011 to become another country, it has been facing challenges. Shortly after gaining independence, South Sudan fell into civil war.

This meant that different groups prevailing in the country started war against each other. Much of this conflict occurs along ethnic lines, where people from different ethnic groups attack each other due to long-standing tensions and disputes.

Democratic Republic of the Congo

Poverty and political instability are everyday occurrences in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Crimes including murder, rape, kidnapping, carjacking, burglary and robbery are not the new events to happen. Even natural disasters like floods, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are a matter of concern.

There are more than 100 armed groups in the DRC who are fighting for a variety of reasons, including control over land, and gaining important resources from here. Due to variations in goals, the conflict between these groups is never-ending.

Russia

It’s been almost two years since the Russia-Ukraine conflict is continuing with no any compromise. This is the reason why Russia is actually the more dangerous of the two countries. This further increases the danger level. Also, Russia has some big problems inside the country. Its government is very strict and sometimes treats its own people badly.

Russia has been doing several amendments in its law, like the recent amendment was criminalizing the homosexuality across the country.

Ukraine

Ukraine has seen the greatest deterioration in security and stability around the world. This happened mainly due to the Russian invasion in February 2022. This attack has caused millions of people to leave their homes and created serious emergencies where people needed utmost help. Due to the war, about 30% of Ukrainians had to leave their homes and move to safer places. The Govt of India has also issued an advisory to the Indian citizens for leaving this country immediately.

It can be expected to witness more issues such as unavailability of food, money spent on military forces, and less stable political situations due to this conflict.

Somalia

Somalia is also considered as one of the most dangerous countries in the world as it has been facing civil war for many years. Various terrorist groups are fighting for control of the country, making it very unsafe.

The terrorist attacks target civilians, government officials and even places where people used to do a large gathering. The government of Somalia is facing several hardships to control the situation. Many people in Somalia are very poor and sometimes do not have enough food. Drought and conflict make it difficult to grow crops, sometimes leading to famine.

Iraq

Iraq has been considered as one of the most dangerous countries due to a combination of historical, political and social factors. Iraq has also been experiencing decades of conflict, including several wars and invasions by other countries and subsequent fight against insurgent groups.

These conflicts have caused widespread destruction and loss of life. Despite its oil wealth, Iraq faces significant economic challenges, including unemployment, corruption, and poor infrastructure. Economic hardship can contribute to instability.

Sudan

Sudan also stands out as one of the most dangerous countries in the world due to a combination of factors that significantly affect its security and stability. This instability makes it difficult for the government to maintain order and provide services to its people. The most unfortunate fact is that the humanitarian crisis in Sudan is not being covered, even by the media outlets.

Reports of human rights abuses, including violence against civilians, have made Sudan a dangerous place for its residents as well as visitors. Sudan faces significant economic challenges, including poverty, unemployment and inflation. Economic difficulties are making it impossible for people to afford even their basic amenities like food, clothing and shelter.
