Top 10 Countries with the Most Emigrants
A recent global study released by the United Nations in early 2020 revealed that 95 million people are now living in a country of which they are not citizens. Leading the pack is India which hosts nearly 18 million international migrants in a globalized population. A research sought to determine the origin of emigrants, which is the countries with many people living in other countries. After India the numbers are Mexico that has approximately equivalent to 11 million of emigrants; the third is Russia. These conclusions show that developed and developing countries have many people who emigrate to get a better paid job, a safe life, or education. There are surprising numbers of Asian countries at the top, proving that migration has become the norm in Asia.
