The Inauguration Day, on the other hand, falls on January 20 each time after 4 years. The Constitution states that the term of each elected president begins at noon on January 20 of the year after the election.
This year, both Inauguration Day and MLK Day are falling on the same date – just like the time for former President Bill Clinton’s 1997 inauguration and Barack Obama’s 2013 ceremony. This time, all post offices across the country are going to remain closed.
