TCS retains top position: Check out India’s most valuable brands

Tata Consultancy Services remains India’s most valuable brand for the third straight year, according to the new Kantar Brandz Most Valuable Indian Brands Report. The consulting company has seen a 16 percent rise with a brand value of $49.7 billion, driven by investments in innovation, particularly in AI and digital transformation.

India’s top 75 brands have a combined value of $450.6 billion, a 19 percent increase of growth since 2023. The brands are spread across diverse business sectors fuelling the growth with 54 brands boosting the overall brand value over the years. 

The growth rate of Indian companies outpaces global growth rankings such as the Global Top 100. Out of all the Indian companies, TCS tops the group of seven Business Tech and Services Platforms collectively worth almost $100 billion, and equalling 22 percent of the total value of India’s Top 75 company worth ranking.

Companies relating to Financial Services also dominate with 17 brands contributing 28 percent of the ranking’s overall brand value. Banks and financial institutions like HDFC Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank and Life Insurance Corporation of India dominate the finance market having brand values of $38.3 billion, $18 billion, $15.6 billion and $11.5 billion  respectively. These companies occupy the 2nd, 5th, 6th and 10th positions in the top 10 list of companies with highest Brand Value.

Zomato with an overall brand value of $3.5 billion has the record of recording the highest growth rate of 100 percent in brand value year on year, due to extensive expansion and innovation. Besides this, telephone and communication services company Airtel and tech giant Infosys takes the 3rd and 4th place respectively with brand value of more than $2.9 billion, and $2.5 billion.
