Suez Canal Revenues Drop Over 60% Over Regional Challenges

Speaking at the broad consultation level, President Al-Sisi vowed to further implement development works for enhancing the navigation facilities. He highlighted the importance of canal to the global trade as well as income earners for Egypt. Improvement of the measures to reduce the impacts of the regional instability on navigation was another major concern in the talks.
This strategic initiative lies in line with an acknowledged policy aimed at preserving the canal’s prominence in the global economy and its sustainable future development.
