Sridhar Vembu resigns as CEO of Zoho Corp to take on 'Chief Scientist' responsibility
Sridhar Vembu, the founder of the Zoho Corp, has resigned as the CEO to take on the ‘Chief Scientist’ role at the company. He made the announcement about focusing more on R&D steps in the next position in a post on X.
Vembu named co-founder Shailesh Kumar Davey as the group CEO. Co-founder Tony Thomas is going to lead Zoho US, he further mentioned. The future of the company entirely depends on its efforts to navigate the R&D challenge, Sridhar Vembu also said.
Zoho Corp has reported a sizeable consolidated revenue – primarily driven by Manage Engine and Zoho. In the same period, the Chennai-based company also reported earnings from its other operating projects.
