Elon Musk on illegal migrants in US

On Wednesday, Elon Musk slammed Biden over his failure to take “preventive action” against illegal migrants in the US. According to Elon Musk, around “2 million” people are entering through the US border every year.

Tech billionaire’s comments came in response to images and videos of ‘mass illegal crossing’ at the Eagle Pass, a city in Texas, shared by reporter Bill Melugin. Musk wrote on Melugin’s post, “Strange that there is almost no legacy media coverage of this. The number is rising rapidly, yet no preventive action is taken by the current administration.” He directly condemned the Biden administration over illegal immigration in the country.

In a viral video, thousands of migrants were seen crossing into the United States. They were casually walking towards the US border.

Texas declares emergency over migrant crisis

Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas Jr. declared emergency in the city of Eagle Pass, Texas, US, over the recent increase in the arrival of migrants. Thousands of migrants crossed into the city in Texas from Mexico on 20 September, leading to a state of emergency in the city. The US authorities also showed concern over the increase in the arrival of migrant workers in the country.

In recent months, New York Mayor Eric Adams has been calling on the US President and other officials to allow migrants to get employment status in order to work freely across the country.
