Over 2000 Indigo Employees and Airport Taxi drivers joined AAEU

Employees from Indigo and the airport taxi drivers from Mumbai & Goa who are estimated around 2000 in counts had joined the BJP-Affiliated AAEU (Airport Aviation Employees Union) on Tuesday. Based on the given information by AAEU, the newly joined Indigo employees who worked at the Mumbai airport and the taxi drivers were members of Uddhav Thackeray’s Bharatiya Kamgar Sena previously. 

“The substantial transition represents a significant consolidation of airport workforce with the AAEU” – AAEU

To welcome their new members of employees to the union a ceremony has been held near Mantralaya. It is speculated that the reason behind this incident could be the benefits that they might receive to address their worker-related issues, and the support for the betterment will be higher. Such political unions is believed to provide more substantial power and negotiations for workers without any dissatisfaction with the leadership.
