Nabil Bank Promotes Financial Awareness Among Nepali Workers in Qatar

Nabil Bank arranged a financial awareness program for Nepali workers in Qatar to show them how banking and remittance services should be done safely. More than one hundred Nepali workers attended Ghar Ta Nepal on the hotel’s premises at Radisson Blu.

Under Nabil Investment Banking Limited and Nabil Stock Dealer Limited supervision the program explained how to use digital banking safely plus Smith how migrant workers can invest in Nepal. The Skilled Migrant Business Loan Program from Nabil stood out as an aid for returning workers to develop their businesses. During the session the participants learned about money management through discussions about saving and putting their funds to work.

Ambassador Paudel of Nepal in Qatar asked workers to use official banking channels for transfers because these channels build Nepal’s economy while securing their earned money. CEO Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana at Nabil Bank highlighted Nepali worker value and shared how the bank enhances digital banking services. The Nepal Business Association in Qatar and NRNA Qatar supported the event which finished with Suman Kaki performing stand-up comedy. The bank provides digital money transfer services to its customers across its national network of 20,000 agents.
