The Mysuru campus of Infosys conducted its fourth employee termination process this year when it cut 195 trainees from its program. The IT corporation made reference to subpar results and individual assessment standards which trainees failed to achieve when it carried out these actions. The trainees who participated in the “Generic foundation training program” failed all attempts at passing the assessment even with enhanced preparation support and repeated assessments and doubt-clearing sessions.
Growing Pattern of Trainee Terminations
This latest dismissal round has increased the total number of trainees terminated in 2025 up to almost 800:
- February: Approximately 300 trainees terminated
- March: 35 trainees let go

- Latest round: 195 trainees terminated

- The company provides free professional placement assistance to workers who need employment elsewhere.
- A 12-week Business Process Management training program
