- Between 2003 and 2021, median wages for H-1B workers grew 52%, outpacing the 39% increase for all U.S. workers
- Studies indicate that the increased presence of H-1B workers in an occupation correlates with decreased unemployment in that field.

The success of this program depends on changes that will happen during Trump’s presidency. Under his first presidential term President Trump launched his “Buy American Hire American” order that heightened scrutiny of H-1B applications that led to 20% filing denials in 2018. Everybody predicts changes that might limit business access to worldwide talent through government policies and administrative directives.
