from south africa to america elon musk's amazing journey
He was born in 1971 in South Africa. When he was still a young boy, he loved computers. When he was only 10, he was given his first computer and taught how to make video games. He even sold one of his video games for $500! Then, that was how smart and good at technology Elon was even in his early years of life.
Elon had plans to stay in America because he felt that he could only bring his biggest dreams to fulfillment. First of all, he went to Canada for college. However, he was not happy there, so he moved to the United States. He went to college at the University of Pennsylvania for both business and science. After he was done with school, he was ready to start making his dreams real.
Elon didn’t waste any time; he started a business with his brother, this company was called Zip2, and they sold it for a lot of money. Then Elon helped create PayPal, which allows you to send money over the internet. When they sold it, Elon got even more money, though he wasn’t stopping there!
With his money, Elon started new companies that would change the world. He became the boss of Tesla, which makes electric cars. These are cars that don’t use gas, which makes them quite friendly to the environment. Elon also started SpaceX, a company that builds rockets. SpaceX even sends astronauts to space!
Elon’s companies have provided many jobs for people in America. His ideas have helped America become one of the most advanced countries in new technologies, like electric cars and space traveling. Now, today, Elon is one of the richest people in the world. He uses his millions and ideas to keep working on big projects that will help everyone.
The story of Elon Musk proves that in America, immigrants can perform miracles. He came to this country with big dreams and had to work hard to realize those dreams. His success made America more powerful and innovative. The journey of Elon reminds us of the fact that whenever we allow a foreigner to come, he will make our country even better.
