The Castlevania series is probably one of the most praised dark fantasy anime series Netflix has ever created. The series is based on video games by Konami that are an amalgamation of gothic horror, blood-soaked action, and emotional storytelling. The second part trades in Richter Belmont and Maria Renard, and features new characters, but maintains the gothic essence of the franchise.
