Each year, the Bihar Public Service Commission organizes competitive examinations to recruit candidates for jobs in administrative and civil services in the state. This exam is the most competitive exam in Bihar for aspirants who are looking for a government job. There are several phases involved in the recruitment process like prelims, mains and interviews as part of choosing the best qualified candidates.

Educational Qualification: Graduation or equivalent from recognized university
Age Limits:
Minimum: 21 years
Maximum (Unreserved Male): 37 years
Maximum (Unreserved Female, Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Classes – both gender): 40 years
Maximum (SC/ST – both gender): 42 years
Examination Information:
Preliminary Exam: Screening test with objective multiple-choice questions
Duration: 2 hours
Total Marks: 150
Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for wrong answers.

3. Verify that you correctly complete the Application Form and log into the account.
4. Pay the application fee.
5. Download the confirmation page after submitting the form.
6. Take a printout for reference.
Application Fees
For General candidates – Rs. 600
For SC/ST candidates belonging to the state of Bihar, female candidates belonging to the state of Bihar, and Divyang persons (40% or more) – Rs 150
Biometric fee of Rs. 200 is applicable for each examination.
