AI Job Market Soars: GenAI Engineers Command Up to Rs 50 Lakh

The latest report from Quess IT Staffing indicates that GenAI skills now grow at 32% per year across all Global Capability Centers with their strong tech ecosystem. Engineers who focus on AI for data science command salaries of over Rs 50 lakh with rates 25% to 40% better than conventional positions.

During the same period Platform Engineering and Site Reliability Engineers increased their employment by 26% just like UI/UX Designers who also grew by 25%. The industry increased Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer hiring rates at 14 percent because these professional profiles improved our availability of technical specialists.

The industry has evolved from its previous status as a distribution facility to direct national progress as it opens 120 GCCs across the Gulf countries in 2024. During the last year this industry have hired 180,000 staff members which allows to employ 97,000 workers overall.

Despite this growth, significant supply gaps persist in specialized roles:

  • Cloud FinOps Specialists (45% gap)
  • AI Observability Engineers (35% gap)
  • Blockchain Developers (30% gap)
