Infosys Announces 90% Bonus Payouts for Q2 FY25

For the second quarter (Q2) of FY25 qualifying employees of Infosys which is the second largest provider of IT services in India would get 90% of their performance incentives. The majority of the company’s workforce consists of mid to junior level employees who are eligible for these bonuses.

Individual performance and contribution will determine the Infosys performance bonus payout in Q2. Although 90% is the average payout each bonus will have a different percentage. Senior-level personnel (Band E7 and above) will not be eligible for this compensation, however employees in the E0 to E6 bands (freshmen to mid-level employees) will.

Infosys assured the qualified workers via email that the bonus would be applied to their November pay. In order to avoid internal complaints, the corporation did not reveal unit-by-unit bonus awards in individual messages..

Since it indicates that the company’s success has met its internal standards, a 90% bonus is good news for both the market and the employees. Due to a rise in discretionary spending, Infosys also updated its full year guidance following Q2 results by moving it up from the previous range of 3 to 4% to 3.75 to 4.5%. Additionally, the Q2 bonus is far larger than the 60% bonus in Q4 FY24 and greater than the company’s Q1 FY25 bonus which was approximately 80%.

One of the main reasons for the outstanding bonus distribution is Infosys’ excellent financial performance in Q2 FY25. The company’s net profit increased by 4.7% year over year to Rs 6,506 crore. Revenue increased by 5.1% to Rs 40,986 crore. The increase in mega deals and the ongoing boom in demand in the financial services sector were the main drivers of this expansion.

Notably Infosys increased its revenue forecast for FY25 from the initial estimate of 3-4% to 3.75-4.5% indicating the company’s confidence in maintaining its momentum.
