Grok 4 free for all users on X: Let us understand

Last updated on August 13th, 2025 at 10:22 am

X, one of the most prominent social media platforms, has announced that the latest Grok 4 chatbot has become free for all users. Isn’t it great? This update expands the doors to the company’s latest and most capable model.

X users can experience Grok 4 in auto mode. The system intelligently decides and routes complex questions to Grok 4. For those seeking to experience the chatbot’s capabilities on all requests, use the Expert mode to ensure the model is engaged all the time.

Strengthening X’s position in artificial intelligence landscape

Earlier, multiple users on X used to face fees or tiered access. It means that only premium subscribers could enjoy the full potential of Grok 4. But the update means X has significantly reduced the entry barrier, enabling a much larger audience to check out the latest offerings.

This strategy not only enhances user engagement but also strengthens X’s position in the artificial intelligence landscape. This space is currently dominated by names like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. Grok 4 is also emerging as one of the top models.

By integrating a strong artificial intelligence model directly into X, the social media platform has considerably blurred the line separating social media and intelligent assistance. You can use it for generating content, brainstorming ideas and a lot more than that.
