With remote work being the norm, a growing number of countries are starting to welcome digital nomads through various visa programmes. As of 2025, there are at least 73 countries with visas for digital nomads or similar long-stay work permits for freelancers, entrepreneurs and remote workers. Digital nomad visas allow you to live legally in your desired destination while online working without the limitations of a tourist visa.
